Colombian Executive Search Firm Joins Signium International
Crystal Lake, Ill, November 2, 2008 – Signium International, Inc. a worldwide retained executive search firm announces that a new company based in Bogotá, Colombia, has joined its global network of retained executive search consultancies. The South American firm will co-brand under the name Signium International Colombia.
Signium Colombia, which began operations earlier this year, is owned and operated by partners Ms. Roxana Lequerica and Mr. Ramiro Zafra. Both practitioners bring superior expertise to the executive recruiting field. Most recently, Ms. Lequerica served for over 10 years as partner for a Colombian subsidiary of Korn/Ferry International. Her primary focus at Signium International/Colombia will be the consumer and pharmaceutical industries. Mr. Zafra has over 30 years of experience in top management positions for Abbott Laboratories. Most recently, he was president for Abbott Laboratories in Madrid, Spain. During his 30-year career with Abbott, Zafra received more than 10 chairman and presidential awards for his outstanding contributions above and beyond the normal call of duty. He will focus on the healthcare industry.
Signium Colombia plans to open additional subsidiaries in neighboring countries such as Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, and Chile.
