Biography: Mr. Coyet is a Managing Partner at Signium Myanmar and based in Yangon.
Mr. Coyet has a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Political Science from the University of Lund and an Officer’s Commission from the Royal Naval College, Sweden.
Mr. Coyet has extensive global working experience from 125 countries. During the eighties, he worked 10 years with Volvo as Business Area Manager with several overseas postings including Singapore. For six years he worked as a Regional Manager in Sweden’s largest PC business. From the mid-nineties he has been working in the humanitarian sector mainly with the International Red Cross Movement where he has held senior management positions e.g. as Head of Delegation in Vietnam and Yugoslavia (FRY) and in East Africa. He has also worked extensively as consultant on strategy, policy and evaluation assignments. Mr. Coyet arrived in Yangon in 2010.
His experience from top management responsibilities and years as a consultant in emerging markets have proven very useful in his efforts to ensure that clients get the right person that can deliver results also under adverse working conditions. |
