Biography: Steve Mok is Managing Director of Signium Greater China for Mainland China. He leads Signium Greater China’s Financial Services Search Practice. Steve entered the executive search industry in Hong Kong back in 1990 having had a very successful career in general management and human resources consulting. He worked for companies like Arthur Andersen/Andersen Consulting, The M.A.C. Group and Hay Management Consultants. By the age of 29, Steve was named to become General Manager for Hay Management Consultants, the leading human resources consulting firm in Hong Kong at the time. Steve decided to put aside his successful career and started his own executive search practice from scratch.

By now, Steve has accumulated over 20 years of experience in executive search in Asia focusing on middle to top management searches within the Personal Financial Services, Corporate & Commercial Banking, Private Banking, Asset Management and Insurance sectors. Most of Steve’s clients have worked with him for well over ten years having developed a close business partnership with each of them.

Steve shuttles between Hong Kong and Shanghai to lead the financial services practice.

A Hong Kong born Chinese, Steve obtained his MBA degree from the Arizona State University and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Psychology from Whittier College in California.
