Katja Schjølin is Managing Partner of Signium Denmark, succeeding Jan Schjølin after two decades. Having served as Chair of the firm for the past three years, she brings continuity as well as a renewed focus on advising clients at the highest executive level.
Katja began her career in executive search and later spent more than a decade in international management consulting in Denmark and New York. She has advised leading consumer goods and financial services clients on executive-level agendas including corporate strategy, organizational design, and people strategy. In 2015 she founded a boutique consultancy, advising established corporations on how to adapt and remain fit for the future. Earlier in her career, she also held an executive role in the marketing sector, where she built and led a consulting team.
She has been recognised as one of Talent100 by Berlingske Business, Denmark’s leading financial newspaper, and was selected for the “M-list” of marketing leaders in Denmark – acknowledgements of her influence as a leader and advisor.
Katja is known for her trusted advisor approach, combining analytical rigour with a genuine interest in people. She is recognised for building long-term, trust-based relationships with clients and candidates, anchored in the belief that leadership and human capital are strategic value drivers for sustainable business success.
She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and Economics from Copenhagen Business School and has completed the INSEAD International Directors Programme.
