Signium is aware of an ongoing fraud in which individuals are impersonating Signium consultants and contacting candidates about fake job opportunities.<\/strong data-aos=\"fade-up\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fraudsters may use the name, photograph and professional information of a real Signium consultant, along with Signium’s name and logo, to make their communications appear legitimate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to recognize the fraud<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Signium consultants do not contact candidates via Gmail or other external email accounts<\/strong data-aos=\"fade-up\">; legitimate communications come from an official Signium country email domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If someone claiming to represent Signium contacts you from Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo or another personal email account, do not respond, do not send your CV\/resume, do not click links or provide personal information.<\/strong data-aos=\"fade-up\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fraudsters may exchange several professional-looking messages with you before asking for money. A detailed job description, knowledge of your professional background, or use of a real Signium consultant’s identity does not mean the communication is legitimate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Signium never charges candidates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Signium never charges candidates to participate in an executive search.<\/strong data-aos=\"fade-up\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will not require you to pay for CV\/resume preparation, executive biographies, coaching or other services in order to be considered for an opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any such request from someone claiming to represent Signium is fraudulent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to verify a Signium consultant<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you are uncertain whether a communication is genuine, do not use the contact information, links or telephone numbers provided in the suspicious message.<\/strong data-aos=\"fade-up\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, locate the consultant or Signium office independently through our official website and contact them using the information provided there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you received a fraudulent message<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Stop communicating with the sender.<\/strong data-aos=\"fade-up\"> Do not send additional information or make any payment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Report the original message as phishing to your email provider.<\/strong data-aos=\"fade-up\"> This is particularly important because the original message contains technical information that can help the email provider identify and take action against the fraudulent account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. If you use Gmail, open the message, click the three dots (\u22ee) next to Reply<\/strong>, and select Report phishing<\/strong data-aos=\"fade-up\">.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Report the incident to Signium<\/strong data-aos=\"fade-up\"> using the form below. Your report helps us identify fraudulent accounts and report impersonation to the relevant service providers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. If you have already sent money or provided financial, identification or other sensitive information, contact your financial institution and the appropriate fraud or law-enforcement authority in your country.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
