Accenture, has announced the appointment of Jacky Fox as Managing Director of Accenture Security in Ireland. She was previously Director, Cyber & IT Forensic Lead with Deloitte.
AMX, The Asset Management Exchange, an institutional platform for investors and asset managers, has announced the appointment of Larry Morrissey as Chief Compliance Officer for AMX Ireland. He was previously Senior Vice President at MPMF Fund Management (Ireland) Limited (MPMF). Prior to this, he worked with Maples and Calder and Mellon Global Investments.
Arkphire, the IT solutions and managed services company, has appointed Paul Nannetti as Chairman of the company’s Board. He worked for 22 years with Capgemini until 2017, most recently as CEO Capgemini Cloud Infrastructure Services and Member of the Group Executive Committee.
bonkers.ie has appointed Enda Brazel as Managing Director Bonkers Insurance Services DAC. He previously worked with RSA Insurance as Chief Underwriting Officer and was Chairman of the Board of 123.ie and RSA Northern Ireland Insurance Limited.
Central Bank of Ireland has announced 2 senior appointments.
Louise Dennehy has been appointed Chief Information Officer. She has been Head of IT Delivery with the organisation since 2017, and worked as Head of IT with FBD Group and Aviva Insurance Ltd prior to this.
Domhnall Cullinan has been appointed Director of Insurance Supervision. He has been Head of Insurance Supervision in the Central Bank, where he has worked since 2003.
Chaucer plc, the specialty international re-insurance group, has appointed Jonathan Sutcliffe as Head of Underwriting at Chaucer Insurance Company DAC in Ireland. He is currently Active Underwriter of China Re Syndicate 2088, and will continue in this role also until the end of 2019.
CIF, the Construction Industry Federation, has appointed Hubert Fitzpatrick as Chief Operations Officer. He has worked with the organisation for 16 years, most recently as Director. Prior to this, he worked with A & L Goodbody.
Diaceutics, a leading data analytics and implementation service provider in diagnostic commercialisation, has appointed Derek Hosty as Head of Global Data. Previously, he worked as GM Cloud and Data at Openet & Director Technology Strategy with Telenor prior to that.
Ding, has announced the appointment of Paul Duffy as its Head of Finance. He was previously with PwC for over ten years, most recently as Director - Deals at PwC, specialising in M&A.
DLA Piper has appointed four new Partners at its Dublin office:
Kate Curneen will join the Finance and Projects Practice from Dillon Eustace, where she has been a Partner since 2016, specialising in Real Estate, Leveraged, Structured and Asset Finance.
John Magee joins the IPT Practice from William Fry, where he has been a Partner since 2016, specialising in Technology, Data Privacy, Data Breach and Cybersecurity.
Sean Murray specialises in Tax and also joins the firm from Dillon Eustace, where he has been a Partner since 2008.
Graham Quinn joins to establish the Real Estate Practice in Ireland. He has been a Partner with William Fry since 2016. He advises on all aspects of Commercial Property Law, including Acquisitions and Disposals, Commercial Leasing, and Real Estate Finance.
DWF, legal firm, has appointed Ruairí MacCumhaill as Partner – Banking and Finance. Prior to this, he worked with William Fry and Mason Hayes & Curran.
Elkstone, has announced the appointment of Conor Sweeney as Venture Partner. He joins from EIIS Management where he was Investment Director since 2015. He was Director Corporate Finance with Baker Tilly Ireland prior to that.
esri Ireland, a mapping and spatial analytics software company, has appointed Marie Hogan as Professional Services Executive Manager. She has worked with the company for 15 years, most recently as Senior Customer Success Manager.
Expleo, which provides integrated, quality engineering and consulting services has appointed Andy Morrison as Head of Automation for the group’s Digital Labs in Belfast. Prior to this, he worked with Vela for 4 years, most recently as Vice President Engineering.
Fidelis, an insurance company, has announced two senior appointments:
Robert Kelly has been named as its new Chief Executive Officer. He is currently Chief Financial Officer for the company. Prior to this, he worked with PartnerRe Insurance as Chief Financial Officer.
Simon Crone has been promoted to Chief Underwriting Officer with immediate effect. He joined FIID this year from AmTrust.
Generator, a boutique accommodation brand, has appointed Donal Rooney as Group Chief Financial Officer. He was previously Group Chief Financial Officer with Datalex. Prior to this he worked with Amaris Hospitality, NAMA and KPMG.
Gestifute International & Polaris Sports, two companies owned by football super-agent Jorge Mendes have appointed Michael Mullins as Director. He was previously Partner with Moore Stephens and was President of the Irish Taxation Institute between 2000 and 2001.
Greencoat UK Wind plc has appointed Caoimhe Giblin as Non-Executive Director. She is currently Head of Client Services at ElectroRoute and previously worked with SSE Renewables, most recently as Director of Finance.
Hammerson, which owns half of the Dundrum Town Centre, has announced the appointment of James Lenton as its new Chief Financial Officer with effect from October 1st. He was previously CFO & Board Member of AIG.
Higher Education Authority has appointed Dr Alan Wall as Chief Executive Officer. He previously worked with the Department of Education for 25 years, most recently as Assistant Secretary General.
ILIM, Irish Life Investment Managers, has announced 2 senior appointments:
Stephen Holland has been appointed Head of Partnerships. He was previously Head of Business Development at ICM Capital, a boutique global investment management business. Prior to this he was a Director at global investment firm KKR and also worked with Dublin hedge fund Abbey Capital, and Bank of Ireland Asset Management (US) Ltd.
Rose McHugh has been appointed Non-Executive Director. She was formerly a Partner at EY and holds a number of non-executive directorships including IMRO, Setanta Asset Management and Brook Foods.
In the Company of Huskies, ad agency, has appointed Jane Madden as Strategy Director. She was previously Head of Strategy at Vizeum Ireland and also worked at QMP Publicis and McCann Erickson, prior to this.
Interxion, a European data centre operator, has appointed Séamus Dunne as Managing Director. He was previously Chief Executive Officer of MCor Technologies. Prior to this, he worked with Hewlett Packard, most recently as Vice President and General Manager Data Centre Services.
KBC Bank has appointed Niall Murray as Business Partner with KBC Business Banking, Cork. Prior to this, he was Vice President of Operations at vsource.io, a technology platform designed to source high quality candidates. He previously worked with Certus, Bank of Scotland, First Active and AIB.
Mindshare, media agency, has appointed Chris Cashen as Strategy Director. He was previously Director of Media with Javelin and worked with Carat as Account Director for 9 years prior to this.
MSD Ireland has appointed Marie Martin as Plant Manager, MSD Carlow. Martin is the first female Plant Lead for MSD in Ireland. She has worked with the company since 2008 most recently as Executive Director.
Omnicom Media Group has appointed Jason Nebenzahl as Chief Executive Officer. He was previously Managing Director of PHD and was Director of OMD Ireland prior to that.
Open Orphan, a European-focussed, rare and orphan drug consulting services platform, has appointed David Kelly as Independent Non-Executive Director. He previously worked with AGI Therapeutics before it was sold to Vidara Therapeutics which in turn was acquired by Horizon Therapeutics plc. He was also Senior Vice President of Warner Chilcott, and also held roles in Elan Corporation and KPMG.
RDI Hub, a not-for-profit partnership between Private Enterprise (Fexco), HEI Research and Education (Institute of Technology Tralee) and Government (Kerry County Council), has appointed Liam Cronin as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this he was Associate Director of Commercialisation of the ADAPT Centre at Trinity College Dublin and worked with Microsoft for over 20 years, most recently as Western Europe Senior Competitive Analysis Manager.
Real Nation events agency has appointed Emma Ross at Chief Operating Officer. Prior to this, she was MD with Runway Marketing and worked with Verve Agency as Account Director.
Revive Active has appointed Helen Mannion as Head of Retail Marketing. She was previously Marketing Manager with Lifes2good.
ROTHCO Accenture Interactive has appointed Shane O’Leary as Strategy Director. He was previously Consumer Strategy Director with Mindshare Ireland and worked with Target McConnell’s as Senior Strategic Planner prior to this.
Salesforce has appointed Jayne-Anne Gadhia as Chief Executive Officer for UK & Ireland with effect from Oct 1st. She was previously Chief Executive Officer of Virgin Money from 2007 to 2018.
Scottish Building Society has appointed Andrew Hastings as Independent Non-Executive Director. He is currently on the board of Pepper Finance, ESB and Elavon Financial Services DAC. He was previously Chief Executive Officer and Country Manager for Barclays Bank Ireland.
Shannon Group has announced the appointment of Ray O’Driscoll as its new Chief Operating Officer. He is currently MD with Shannon Group Commercial Properties and was Finance Director at Barry Group prior to that.
Soapbox Labs, which provides voice recognition technology for younger children, has appointed Colm O’Carroll as Chief Financial Officer. He was previously with Shazam for over 2 years, most recently as Chief Financial Officer where he prepared the company for sale to Apple. Prior to this, he worked with Warner Bros International Television Production for 6 years.
Sodexo, has announced two senior appointments:
Margot Slattery will become Global Chief Diversity Officer with effect from September 1st. She has been with Sodexo since 1991, most recently as Country President Ireland & Northern Ireland.
Julie Ennis takes over as Country President. She will combine this with her current role as Managing Director of Corporate Services in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Solas, the state agency responsible for supporting further education and skills, has appointed Andrew Brownlee as Chief Executive. He has worked with the organisation since 2018, most recently as Executive Director, Strategy and Knowledge. Prior to this, he worked with the Higher Education Authority as Head of System Funding.
Ulster Bank has appointed Lorraine Costelloe as Head of Home Buying & Ownership. She has worked with the bank since 2017, most recently as Head of Retail Finance Business partners. Prior to this, she worked with AIB for 15 years.
Wriggle Learning Ltd, a leading specialist in Digital Learning for Education, has appointed Joe Duignan as Chief Operating Officer. He was previously Head of Inflight Operations, Sales and Customer Experience with Ryanair. Prior to this, he worked with Harvey Norman and Gateway.
Zurich Insurance plc has appointed Neil Freshwater as Chief Executive Officer. He has been with the company since 2013, most recently at CEO, Zurich Legacy Solutions. Prior to this, he worked with reinsurance company Catlin, as well as Aviva plc and Swiss Re.
