Athina is a highly experienced senior executive and board member with over 30 years of leadership experience across multinational corporations, financial institutions, and the public sector. She has held CEO and CFO roles in leading organizations including the Hellenic Development Bank and the Archaeological Resources Fund, where she led large-scale transformation, digital modernization, and significant financial growth.
Earlier in her career, she held leading finance roles at Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, Toyota Hellas, Beiersdorf, as well as advisory roles in international institutions and government bodies, such as UNECE and RVO, supporting financial management, restructuring, and policy development.
She holds an MSc in Operational Research from the University of Athens, a BSc in Business Administration from Athens University of Economics & Business, and an MA in Heritage Management (Distinction) from the University of Kent. She has further executive education from INSEAD (Corporate Governance), IMD Lausanne (Mini MBA), and Emory University (Strategic Marketing), along with certifications in Leadership, Corporate Governance and ESG.
She is fluent in Greek, English, French and German, and is recognized for her strategic leadership, governance expertise, and proven ability to lead complex organizational transformation across sectors.
