Banu Beste Başol

Banu Beste Başol is a Managing Partner of Signium Turkey, bringing almost three decades of experience in executive search, leadership assessment, and human capital management. Based in Istanbul, she works closely with organisations on critical leadership decisions, offering an integrated and strategic approach to identifying leaders who can shape long-term organisational direction and performance.

Prior to joining Signium, Banu served as Office Managing Director of Korn Ferry Turkey for eight years, leading C-suite and board-level executive search, leadership assessment, and succession planning engagements. Her client work spans a wide range of industries, including consumer, retail, life sciences, and industrial sectors.

Her career spans both executive search and senior corporate human resources leadership roles. Banu began her professional career at Korn Ferry Turkey, where she developed deep expertise in executive search and leadership advisory, before moving into senior HR leadership positions at global multinational firms such as Levi Strauss & Co. and Vodafone. She later played a key role in establishing the Istanbul office of Russell Reynolds Associates.

Banu holds a BA in Economics from Istanbul University. She is a native Turkish speaker and is fluent in English. Outside her professional work, she enjoys travelling with family and friends and has a strong passion for music, playing the piano, bass guitar, and various percussion instruments.
