Sumio Takiguchi is a senior consultant with Signium Japan. During his extensive business career, he served as a top executive at both Japanese and foreign affiliated companies engaged in sales and marketing of automotive components, sporting goods and publishing.

His career includes 30 years at Bridgestone Corporation, 12 years of which were served in overseas as Sales/Marketing Director in Australia, Managing Director/CEO of a subsidiary in the UK and Germany for 4 years of each. He worked for Nordica Japan, a subsidiary of Benetton Sports System in Italy, manufacturing and marketing various sporting goods, as Managing Director/CEO for 4 years, and worked for Oxford University Press Japan, a subsidiary of Oxford University Press in the UK, as Managing Director/CEO for 8 years.

He joined Signium Tokyo in 2010 and has a successful record of placing job assignments in the automotive industry.

He holds a BA in Law from Keio University in Tokyo.
