His particular focus is in the context of internationalization, succession, and change.
With a background as an entrepreneur, corporate executive, and founder of a boutique executive search firm, Claus brings a deep understanding of corporate processes, leadership dynamics, and cross-cultural talent management. He has successfully completed 3-digit search mandates and conducted numerous leadership assessments as an integral part of a succession process using leading Assessment Systems as a tool of choice. His advisory work often includes customized onboarding and development programs / solutions such as “First 100 Days,” reverse headhunting, and strategic workforce transformation initiatives.

Prior to joining Signium, Claus served as founder and Managing Partner at Hartmann & Company GmbH, Senior Consultant at Steinbach & Partner AG, and Director Retail & CPG at listed IT company Pironet NDH AG. He holds a BBA in International Business Management from Wichita State University (USA) and served in the German Armed Forces.
Claus lives and works between Germany and Denmark. He is a dedicated ballplayer, husband, father, and is actively involved in pro bono projects supporting youth, education, and humanitarian aid in Europe.
