Jerker Gräsbeck

Jerker Gräsbeck has more than 25 years’ experience from leading positions in industry, mainly in the manufacturing, chemicals and raw materials industries. He has been active in product management, technical service and technical sales, later leading sales organisations, complete business units and eventually whole organisations as a CEO. Responsibilities have also included Board work, both in multinational and smaller local companies.

Jerker is Finnish by origin but has been internationally active throughout his career and worked in most European countries, having lived and been based longer periods in Germany, France, Denmark, Sweden and of course in Finland.

Jerker has been active more than 15 years in the executive search industry working mainly with C-level executive search, operational Directors and Board members. Other central focus areas have been Management and Board Development Audits. Clients have come from industry, mining, defence and the process industry. In addition, Jerker has acquired experience in finance, banking, and FMCG through active Board work. His consulting work has been targeted towards and included both companies listed on the stock exchange and family-owned businesses.

Jerker holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Åbo Akademi University, combined with post-graduate studies in management and marketing. He also holds certificates in People Assessment, verified by the Finnish Psychologists’ Association, including numerous certificates of different test and assessment tools. He is fluent in five languages: Swedish, Finnish, English, German and French. In his spare time, he practices lots of sports (ice hockey, floorball, jogging and tennis) and he also enjoys boating and hunting.
