Annelize van Rensburg

Annelize van Rensburg serves as the Global Chair of Signium and is a founding member of Signium Africa. With over 27 years of experience in executive search, she is a strong advocate for integrated talent solutions—believing these approaches represent the future of search and talent management and will deliver significant value to both current and future clients.

Her expertise spans executive and senior management appointments, including non-executive directors, across diverse industries. While her focus includes agriculture, academia, financial services, industrial and consumer sectors, and ICT, her experience is not limited to these areas. In addition to serving local and international private-sector clients, Annelize works extensively with South Africa’s parastatal sector. She is based in Johannesburg and operates nationally within South Africa and across the sub-Saharan region, having successfully executed assignments in most East African countries.

Annelize began her career at a private foundation conducting fact-finding missions for international business and political leaders. She later served as Vice Principal of a private business college before entering the executive search industry in 1998. Since then, she has built enduring client relationships based on trust and dedication. In 2009, she co-founded Talent Africa, now known as Signium Africa.

She holds a postgraduate degree in Political Science from the Rand Afrikaans University (now the University of Johannesburg) and is bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
